“I have been in Sales and Sales Management for 29 years including 10 years with a national home builder in the Ohio and Pennsylvania market as a Vice President of Sales. Understanding the sales process and helping customers make an educated decision has contributed to my success. I’ve been involved in many Home Builder Associations throughout the mid-west and have enjoyed assisting many different people. I believe purchasing a new home should be a pleasant experience.
“We returned home to New England since our children were living in the Boston area and we wanted to be closer to them as we grow older. Since I was born and raised on the South Shore, we relocated to Scituate.
During my personal time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family – my wife Joanne of 30 years and our children Alexandra, age 28 and Erik, age 25. We enjoy vacationing at the beach, golf, watching all local professional teams and cooking for our extended family since returning from Ohio.”
“I have lived on the South Shore my entire life and have never lived more than three miles from the ocean. I love all things New England: our rich history, diverse geography, wonderful people, changing seasons (even the winter!) and, of course, our sports teams.
I live in Scituate with my husband, Bill, and our active children; Madison 17, Lily 15, Liam 14 and Angus 13. When I am not running to hockey rinks or soccer fields, I enjoy, boating. golfing and traveling with my family.
Professionally, I have always worked in a customer service and sales capacity. Previously, I owned and operated Walsh Associates, a successful medical device recruiting company. I attribute my success to a winning combination of old -fashioned hard work and modern lead generation techniques. I have excellent interpersonal skills that allow me to build lasting relationships through confidence and trust.
I have always loved the beauty of new homes and have built three of my own. I am comfortable with all steps of the process, from developing the initial architectural plan to putting the finishing touches on the décor. My success and efforts have always been rewarding and satisfying to me.”
“I moved to Cape Cod almost 14 years ago, knowing that it was what was best for my family, but having no idea just what was in store for me. My grandparents lived in Falmouth, where we’d vacationed growing up, and that was terrific for my mom; my dad opened his own restaurant, now a popular spot on Hyannis Harbor; and my brothers received incredible educations, unique to their needs and second to none.
I supported my family in each of their endeavors, working extensively with those with developmental disabilities in direct care, education, fundraising and administration, and also at the family restaurant, participating in day-to-day operations as needed.
I began working at Southport almost a year ago in an administrative capacity, knowing that it would make a nice introduction into the world of real estate, but I could never have foreseen the opportunity that lay ahead. Not a “salesperson” by nature, I’ve always been great at promoting things and causes that I truly believe in. Knowing whole-heartedly that Southport offers both a top quality home and a lifestyle and community experience second-to-none, I use my deep understanding of people, really listening to their particular needs, to help prospective buyers find homes that meet and exceed their expectations.
When not hard at work, I seek out new destinations on Cape Cod where I can go with my camera, catch a concert at the Melody Tent, play tennis with friends, and enjoy time with family. I always find new things to do on this neat little peninsula I am lucky enough to call home!”
“I spent my childhood in East Boston, surrounded by a large Italian family. I moved to Waltham when I got married and worked in the family jewelry business for 20 years while raising our four sons. Our love of golf brought us to the Cape in 1986 when we bought a summer home. My husband Dave, with whom I will celebrate my 50th anniversary this year, retired and we built our home in Mashpee to accommodate our growing family. We moved here permanently in 1998.
I started my real estate career in Waltham working with Hunneman/Coldwell banker in 1994. I joined the Southport Sales Team in 1999. My 14 years as a Sales Broker at Southport has truly been a dream job. I have met many wonderful people, some of whom have become very close friends. Their enjoyment and love of the community makes my job all that more rewarding.
I have nine super terrific grandchildren that I love (and spoil!) to death. I enjoy traveling with my family and on a recent cruise I actually zip-lined with them. I am looking forward to resuming my golf career once Southport is completed!”
